I saw a baby bird today. If you came down our street or a familiar sidewalk (or maybe in your neighborhood) you might find a dead baby bird.

This is what we think: The mama bird flew away and something happened to her. And the babies tried to get out of the nest and died. So, that's what we think.

Activity:

Build a bird house. Wait for birds to come. Wait for the mama to lay eggs. Feed the baby birds and the mother and they will stay with you.

Find a bird and copy it's pattern. Paint its wings and paint them the same color or pattern and show your friends.

Plant a tree. Wait for a bird. Show your mother. Keep the bird for a little while. Then wait for another bird.
